Craniosacral Therapy with Vivien Ray

Pain, tension and anxiety may cause you to loose faith in life and happiness. Craniosacral Therapy can help you heal and regain balance and confidence.  It is a gentle hands-on therapy which assists people’s natural capacity to self-heal whatever their age or current state of health. (Although the name, Craniosacral Therapy, may suggest that it is a therapy for heads, it is a healing method for the whole body.)

Craniosacral Therapy can help you to recover after accidents, illness or stressful events and to regain health and well-being.

You may want help for a baby or child, be pregnant or thinking about becoming pregnant.

CST is not a substitute for medical help. The practice focuses on the health of the body and its natural self-healing wisdom. In your sessions we will become explorers together to help you release old hurts, undo the effects of traumatic events and reach a sense of stillness and peace where you can heal.

Vivien Ray

In 1998 I completed my graduate training with the Craniosacral Therapy Education Trust in London and started my Craniosacral Therapy practice. I had (and still have) a sense of homecoming in the subtlety and potency of the work.

My post graduate training has focussed largely on the areas in which I have a special interest, particularly shock and trauma, birth, babies and families and increasing my knowledge of the amazing way the body works.

When my own children were young I taught antenatal classes for the National Childbirth Trust and trained other teachers. This was one of the ways in which my interest in body work and healing was awoken.

I remain committed to helping parents through pregnancy and childbirth and working with babies and children.

I have accompanied many women through the birth of their babies and I still offer sessions for women in labour where I can.

I live and practice in the borders of Herefordshire where I keep horses and cherish life in the countryside.
